Five-Year Parks and Recreation Master Plan
Public Review Period:
December 1, 2022 – December 30, 2022
Notice is hereby given to all interested parties that the City of Inkster is seeking public comment on its Five-Year Parks and Recreation Master Plan.
The required 30-day public review and comment period will begin on December 1, 2022 and will end on December 30, 2022. Inkster is preparing this Five-Year Recreation Plan in accordance with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) requirements. When completed, this Plan will serve as a guide for the development of community recreation facilities and programs over the next five years.
Beginning December 1, 2022, copies of the draft Five-Year Parks and Recreation Plan will be available for review during normal business hours at City Hall, located at 26215 Trowbridge, Inkster, Michigan, 48141. The draft Plan may also be accessed at www.cityofinkster.com. Inkster residents and stakeholders are asked to submit their comments in writing to the attention of the City of Inkster Planning Department, 26215 Trowbridge, Inkster, Michigan, 48141. Persons may also e-mail comments to Brigitte Smith, Planner at bsmith@mcka.com. Comments will be received through 12:00 noon, Monday, January 2, 2023. Please reference “Parks and Recreation Master Plan” in all correspondence.
