When an ordinance violation has occurred or there is reason to believe that a violation has occurred, notice of the violation may be delivered personally, posted on the property or sent by first class mail to the address of record. The notice will include the location of the violation, a description of the violation, a correction order allowing reasonable time for compliance, and penalties for noncompliance with orders and notices. When a violation notice is received, it is imperative that questions and concerns be directed to the Code Enforcement Division as soon as possible.
