Building Rental
The facility has several rooms that are available for rental at
reasonable rates. Why not consider hosting your next baby shower, bridal
shower, retirement party, or pool party at the Booker Dozier Recreation
Complex.
Activity Pass
We offer Activity passes at reasonable rates. Activity Pass fee
includes:
- One daily swim session (seasonal).
- Full use of weight room (18 and over).
- Full use of gymnasium as scheduled.
- Full use of sauna (mens locker room).
- Locker room privileges (locks to be provided by users).

 Full use of Game Room (table games, table tennis, pool).
Dog License
- $ 5.00 Spayed/Neutered
- $ 7.00 Unsexed
Dogs are required to have a license in the city of Inkster and are valid
June 1st thru May 31st. They can be purchased at the Recreation
Complex.

Enhanced Fitness
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
10:30am - 11:30am
Want to be fit and have lots of fun? Start with Enhanced Fitness. Its a
free program geared toward improving overall functional fitness and well
being of primarily older adults. (All adults are welcome).
 After School Program
September 21, 2009 - March 27, 2010
4:00pm - 6:00pm
The After School Program will be conduced at various Elementary Schools
throughout the Wayne-Westland School District, Inkster Public School
District, and Westwood Community School District. Activities
include table games, arts & crafts, field trips, instructional and
competitive team and individual sports such as flag football, floor
hockey, volleyball, basketball and track & field.
Karate Classes
Monday & Wednesday
6:00pm - 8:00pm
Family Plan: 3 or more participants $80 per month
Ages: 5-12: $ 40 per month
Ages: 13 - Adult: $ 50 per month.
Students learn basic, intermediate and advanced techniques of weapons
training and Tae Kwon Do.

The Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held at Inkster City Hall,
located at 26215 Trowbridge. Join the fun as we sing Christmas Carols,
and await the arrival of Santa.
Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, April 3, 2010 - 1:00pm
For boys and girls ages 8 and under
There will be prizes for whoever collects the most eggs, and finds the
golden egg. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
41st Annual Memorial Day Parade
May 31, 2010 - 12 noon
Beginning at the corner of Cherry Hill and Inkster Road.
Join us in remembrance of those that have given their lives for this
great county.
2010 Inkster Legends Basketball Camp
Friday, August 6, and August 7, 2010
This free program is offered to boys and girls ages 8 to 15. They are
invited to participate in the two day Basketball Camp. Each
participant will learn the fundamentals of basketball.
