Patrol Division The Patrol Division of the Inkster Police Department is the backbone of
the organization. The personnel assigned to this division are first
responders to calls for service. These officers are responsible for
writing the initial police report after gathering information from the
complainants. These officers are trained in evidence collection, traffic
investigation/enforcement and customer service techniques. To report
crimes in progress or for calls of emergency nature call 911. For calls
of a non-emergency nature, please call (313) 563-9850 and the prompts
will guide you.
