Message From The Chief
We employ 20 career firefighters supplemented by a small auxiliary force, and an Executive Secretary. Its focus is to protect property and save lives through innovative fire prevention, public education and fire suppression coupled with fire investigations that determine cause and origin. I am committed to high quality customer service that is sensitive to the needs of Inkster citizens and visitors alike. Our department is committed to eliminating loss of life and property. We will focus on establishing more effective ways of serving the public and analyze data that will help us to identify where the greatest needs are. It is my goal as Fire Chief to insure the best available fire
protection and emergency services possible through education and
training. I want Inkster to be the safest city of its size in the
United States of America in terms of fire protection. Making
Inkster the safest City will require growth, innovation, commitment and
I am also committed to maintaining diversity within the fire department through recruitment, outreach and mentoring. This will ensure that the citizens of Inkster are represented in the best way possible. This community and its visitors deserve the best. As Chief I am proud of our firefighters and staff who give of their time and efforts, when off duty to citizen groups and community projects, not only during Fire Prevention Week, but throughout the year.
