Emergency Medical Services Division

Rescue Vehicle In Use The current Emergency Medical Services (EMS) offered by the Inkster Fire Department is a transporting rescue/ambulance staffed with Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMT), with Automatic Electronic Defibrillation (AED) and Intermediate Airway capabilities.

Rescue Vehicle In Use The Inkster Fire Department EMS division is providing our community with Advanced Life Support (ALS) services. ALS/Paramedic services entail the use of life saving medication, manual defibrillation, intravenous access (IV) in the pre-hospital setting.

It is the goal of the Inkster Fire Department’s EMS division to provide, not only the standard of care for our citizenry, but to expeditiously evolve in providing state of the art care to our community and the region of Western Wayne County.
