Payment in Lieu of Taxes (PILOT) Program

Certain properties under various public acts do not pay property taxes. However, in some cases the property owner makes a payment in lieu of taxes (PILOT). The two PILOT’s listed are part of the development project on Michigan Ave. One is for the new Department of Human Services (DHS) building and the other is for the Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) building.
