CITY OF INKSTER

TREASURER/CONTROLLER

The City of Inkster, MI with a population of 30,115 is now accepting resumes for the position of Treasurer/Controller. The responsibilities of this position include directing and coordinating activities of department divisions which include Treasury, Purchasing, Assessing and Accounting.

The ideal person must have a minimum of 5 years experience in financial management and be able to direct budget preparation; contracts; debt management; investments; computers; internal auditing and government reporting. Possession of a bachelors degree in accounting with specialty in municipal and fund accounting experience a plus; business finance; public administration required.
