Press Release: Write-In Notice

Attention Inkster Residents

If you are interested in serving on Council as a district representative or Mayor; you are welcome to obtain the Declaration of Intent form from the City Clerk’s office allowing you to campaign as a Write-In.

A Write –In candidate must instruct the electors to write the candidate’s name in the appropriate area of the ballot and darken corresponding ballot oval.

The deadline for submitting this form is July 22. If you have an interest or questions, do not hesitate to contact the City Clerk’s office at (313) 563- 9770 or visit our office from 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
