Press Release: Notice of Public Hearing - May 16, 2011

The City of Inkster Administration will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers located at 26215 Trowbridge on Monday, May 16, 2010, 7:30pm, for the proposed City of Inkster Budget; Fiscal Year 2011/2012. The City Council of the City of Inkster will receive and file the proposed Fiscal Year 2011/2012 budget beginning July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012, the property tax millage rate proposed to be levy to support the proposed budget and the water and sewer rates will be effective July 1, 2011 and will be subject of this hearing as well. This Truth-In-Taxation hearing is being held pursuant to Section 16 of the Uniform Budgeting and Accounting Act (Truth in Budgeting, MCL 141.436)

All the meetings of the City of Inkster are open to the public. You are invited to attend this meeting. Persons unable to attend the public hearing may send their comments in writing to the attention of the City of Inkster Treasurer/Controller, 26215 Trowbridge Avenue, Inkster, Michigan.
