Press Release:  City of Inkster School Election

For Immediate Release
March 24, 2011

TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF INKSTER, County of Wayne: Notice is hereby given that a School Election for the Inkster, Westwood and Wayne-Westland will be held in the City of Inkster on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at which time the following candidates will appear on the ballot:

Inkster School District

  • Board of Education (2) – Four Year Term (vote for not more than two)

Westwood School District

  • Board of Education (2) – Four Year Term (vote for not more than two)
  • Board of Education (1) – Two Year Term – Partial (vote for not more than one).

Wayne/Westland School District

  • Board of Education (2) – Four Year Term (vote for not more than two)

The places of voting for the School Election to be held May 3, 2011 will be as follows:

The polls for said election will be open at 7:00 a.m. and will remain open until 8:00 p.m. on said day of election. Every qualified elector present and in line at the hour prescribed for the closing thereof shall be allowed to vote. Voting sites are ADA compliant.
