Press Release: Notice of Public Hearing on February 17, 2011
RE:  Case #ZBA10-03

January 27, 2010

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act, Act 110 of 2006, as amended by PA 12 of 2008 and as provided under this act, the City of Inkster's Zoning Board of Appeals will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 7:30pm in the Inkster City Hall Council Chamber, which is located at 26215 Trowbridge Inkster, Michigan. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider a variance from Section 155.115(G), minimum lot area and Section 155.115(H), prohibited off-street parking in the front yard setback. Loay Ali Alfasih is the applicant. The project site is 30069-75 Cherry Hill Road, which is located between Cherry Hill Trail and Bert Lane and is legally described as the following:

Part of NE 1/4 of Sec 23, T2S, R9E, Beginning N 89°19' E, 660' and due S 60' from N 1/4 corner of Section 23; Th N 89°19' E 165'; Th; due S 456.29'; Th S 89°54'05" W, 156'; Th due N 454.61' to POB. 1.72 Acres (Property ID #001-99-0006-000; Commonly Identified As 30069-75 Cherry Hill Road).

Public comments are invited. Persons unable to attend the public hearing may send their comments in writing to the attention of the City of Inkster Planning, Building & Economic Development Department, 26215 Trowbridge, Inkster, Michigan, 48141. Comments will be received through 12:00 noon, Thursday, February 17, 2011. Please reference Case No. ZBA10-03 in all correspondence.

The City of Inkster will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the public hearing, to individuals with disabilities upon five (5) business days written notice. Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services should contact the City of Inkster at (313)563-3211.
