Public Meeting Notice: Adoption of an Amendment to the
Brownfield Plan for Expansion of the Inkster Market Place

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF INKSTER, COUNTY OF WAYNE, STATE OF MICHIGAN
ON
THE ADOPTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE BROWNFIELD PLAN FOR EXPANSION OF
THE INKSTER MARKET PLACE
PURSUANT TO AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH ACT 381 OF THE PUBLIC
ACTS OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN OF 1996, AS AMENDED
Please take notice that a public hearing shall be held before the Inkster City
Council at 7:30 p.m.
on Monday, February 7, 2011 on the adoption of an amendment to the Brownfield
Plan for
expansion of the Inkster Market Place Project to remove land that was proposed
to be used as
a retail center and adjacent parking lot from the plan. The public hearing will
take place in the
Inkster City Hall Council Chamber, which is located at 26215 Trowbridge,
Inkster, Michigan at
such time the Inkster City Council shall exercise its powers, all pursuant to
and in accordance
with the provisions of the Brownfield Redevelopment Financing Act, being Act 381
of the Public
Acts of the State of Michigan of 1996, as amended. The description of the
proposed property is:
Land situated in the City of Inkster, County of Wayne, State of Michigan,
described as follows:
Various lots from the northwest corner of Kean and John Daly Road to the
southwest
corner of Michigan Avenue and John Daly Road.
A legal description of the property along with maps and a copy of the proposed
Brownfield Plan
are available for public inspection at the City of Inkster's City Clerk's
Office, 26215 Trowbridge,
Inkster, Michigan.
Public comments are invited. Please note that all aspects of the Brownfield Plan
are open for
discussion at the public hearing. Persons unable to attend the public hearing
may send their
comments in writing to the attention of the City of Inkster Planning, Building &
Economic
Development Director, 26215 Trowbridge, Inkster, Michigan 48141. Comments will
be received
through 12:00 noon, February 7, 2011 . Please reference "Amendment to The
Inkster Market
Place Expansion Brownfield Plan" on all correspondence.
The City of Inkster will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and
services, such as
signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being
considered at the
public hearing, to individuals with disabilities upon five (5) business days
written notice.
