Press Release: Wayne County Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) - 2010-11 Final Statement

In compliance with federal guidelines, the City of Inkster approved final projects and funding levels for Inkster’s allocation of the 2010 – 2011 Wayne County CDBG program funding as follows:

Bond Repayment for Relocation, Acquisition and Project Administration	Within Carver Homes Subdivision (Irene on the East, Northland on the West, York on the South and Carlysle on the North)	$245,195.00
Administration	City-Wide	$32,600.00
Demolition	City-Wide	$48,205.00
Total Estimated Allocation		$326,000.00

The estimated amount reflects no change from the estimated 2009-2010 allocation. The estimated funding levels are expected to remain consistent with the estimated funding levels from the 2009-2010 allocation. The City of Inkster will also apply for an additional allocation of an estimated $30,000 for housing rehabilitation, which is not a part of the above formula.
