Block Grant Program (CDBG) - 2010-11 Final Statement
For Immediate Release
December 28, 2009
In compliance with federal guidelines, the City of Inkster approved
final projects and funding levels for Inksters allocation of the 2010
2011 Wayne County CDBG program funding as follows:
|
Activity |
Location |
Funding |
| Bond Repayment for
Relocation, Acquisition and Project Administration |

Subdivision (Irene on the East, Northland on the West, York on the
South and Carlysle on the North) |
$245,195.00 |
| Administration |
City-Wide |
$32,600.00 |
| Demolition |
City-Wide |
$48,205.00 |
| Total Estimated
Allocation |
|
$326,000.00 |
The estimated amount reflects no change from the estimated 2009-2010
allocation. The estimated funding levels are expected to remain
consistent with the estimated funding levels from the 2009-2010
allocation. The City of Inkster will also apply for an additional
allocation of an estimated $30,000 for housing rehabilitation, which is
not a part of the above formula.
The above activities meet HUD objectives by directly benefiting low
and moderate-income families and preserving deteriorating housing stock.
