Election Commission Meeting
June 20, 2011

The Election Commission Meeting of the Council of the City of Inkster, Wayne County, Michigan, convened in the Council Chambers, 26215 Trowbridge, on Monday, June 20, 2011.

Call Meeting to Order

Chairman Patrick Wimberly called the meeting to order at 9:01 p.m.

Roll Call

Honorable Commissioners Present: Chairman Patrick Wimberly, Commissioners Michael Canty, Henry Crump, Marcus Hendricks, Hilliard Hampton, II, Courtney Owens, Timothy Williams

New Business

11-06-186E Moved by Hendricks  Seconded by Crump
  Authorize the City Clerk to conduct the August 2, 2011 Primary Election for the citizens of Inkster all districts.
  Motion carried unanimously.  
11-06-187E Moved by Crump Seconded by Williams
  Authorize the City Clerk to administer mandated tests on the voting equipment (30 units) and schedule a public accuracy test.
  Motion carried unanimously.  
11-06-188E Moved by Williams Seconded by Canty
  Authorize funds to conduct the Primary Election  
  Motion carried unanimously.  
11-06-189E Moved by Canty Seconded by Williams
  Authorize the City Clerk to hire/request additional staff and election workers.  
  Motion carried unanimously.  
11-06-190E Moved by Williams Seconded by Canty
  Allow the City Clerk to utilize a receiving Board to verify election results.  
  Motion carried unanimously.  

There being no further business to come before the Election Commission, on motion duly made by Canty, seconded by Hendricks and carried, the Election Commission meeting of June 20, 2011 was adjourned at 9:04 AM.
