Special Council Meeting
November 10, 2011

The Special Meeting of the Council of the City of Inkster, Wayne County, Michigan, was held at the Booker T. Dozier Recreation Complex, 2025 Middlebelt Road.

Call Meeting to Order
Mayor Hampton called the meeting to order on at 6:15 a.m. Stating specific to address water rates.
Roll Call
Honorable Council Present: Michael Canty, Henry L. Crump, Jr., Marcus Hendricks, Patrick Wimberly, Mayor Hilliard L. Hampton II
Honorable Council Not Present: Courtney Owens, Timothy Williams
James George, Darrell Latimore of Detroit Water and Sewer Board present to answer questions.
Mark Stuhldreher, City Treasurer provided a Powerpoint presentation.
Question and answer discussion followed providing information regarding how the water rates are calculated
Comments on water bill hardship, assistance needed, amount of water used, how water calculated, millage, break down of water charges, taxes, water meters, water shut off policy, water main breaks, infrastructure, water loss, and vacant structures.
There being no further business to come before Council, on motion duly made by Councilman Crump, seconded by Councilman Hendricks and carried, the Special Council Meeting of November 10, 2011 was adjourned at 9:01 p.m.
