Special Council Meeting
September 28, 2011

The Special Meeting of the Council of the City of Inkster, Wayne County, Michigan, re-convened in the Council Chambers, 26215 Trowbridge, on Wednesday, September 28, 2011.
Call Meeting to Order
Mayor Hampton called the meeting to order on September 28, 2011 at 4:35 a.m.
Roll Call
Honorable Council Present: Michael Canty, Henry L. Crump, Jr., Marcus Hendricks, Courtney Owens (4:37), Timothy Williams (4:47), Patrick Wimberly, Mayor Hilliard L. Hampton II
Mark Stuhldreher, City Treasurer provided synopsis of the Conceptual Deficit Elimination Reduction Plan sent to the State of Michigan and a meeting with Department Heads.
Mayor and Council entered closed session at 5:10 p.m. to discuss personnel (City Manager’s evaluation)
Moved by Canty, Seconded by Crump to go into closed session at 5:10 p.m.
Councilman Crump left at 5:30 p.m.
Moved by Owens, Seconded by Wimberly to return to open session at 5:58 p.m.
New Business
11-09-279S Moved by Canty Seconded by Hendricks
Accept City Manager’s resignation effective immediately.
11-09-279-1S Moved by Canty Seconded by Crump
Appoint Ron Wolkowicz, Parks and Recreation Director, to the position of Interim City Manager.
There being no further business to come before Council, on motion duly made by Councilman Canty, seconded by Councilman Williams and carried, the Special Council Meeting of September 28, 2011 was adjourned at 5:59 p.m.
