The Special Meeting of the Council of the City of Inkster, Wayne County, Michigan, convened in the Council Chambers, 26215 Trowbridge, on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 and recessed to Wednesday, September 28, 2011.
Call Meeting to Order
Mayor Hampton called the meeting to order on September 27, 2011 at 5:12 a.m.
Roll Call
Honorable Council Present: Michael Canty, Henry L. Crump, Jr., Marcus Hendricks, Courtney Owens, Timothy Williams, Patrick Wimberly, Mayor Hilliard L. Hampton II
Approval of Agenda
11-09-274S Moved by Hendricks Seconded by Canty
Approve agenda with rearrangement of order or business.
New Business
11-09-275S Moved by Canty Seconded by Williams
Approve closure of Middlebelt Road between Annapolis and Michigan Avenue on October 15 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm for the Inkster High School Homecoming Parade.

Extend Plante Moran contract until December 31, 2011 at a rate of $10,000 per month.

Authorize Administration to complete application material and include deficit reduction Plan outline, as required by the Local Emergency Loan Board. Remove the first two paragraphs and the last two sentences of the outline provided by the City Manager before submittal. Include reduction of fleet. Submit final outline to Council by 9:00 am, September 28 for final review prior to sending to the State of Michigan.

Approve a shut off policy for the City of Inkster (to be made part of).
There being no further business to come before Council, on motion duly made by Councilman Canty, seconded by Councilman Crump and carried, the Special Council Meeting of September 27, 2011 was recessed at 11:45 p.m. to reconvene at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2011.
