Monday, February 15, 2010
Chairman Patrick Wimberly called the Election
Commission Meeting of February 15, 2010 to order at 9:34 p.m. The City
Council members met as the Election Commission as prescribed in Chapter
4, Section 6 of the City of Inkster Charter.
Present on Roll Call: Chairman Patrick
Wimberly. Commissioners Michael Canty, Henry Crump, Marcus Hendricks,
Courtney Owens, Timothy Williams
Excused: Hilliard L. Hampton II
NEW BUSINESS
09-02-043E Motion by Canty Seconded by Owens
Authorize the City Clerk to conduct the May 4,
2010 Inkster and Westwood School District Election.
09-02-044E Motion by Crump Seconded by
Williams
Authorize the City Clerk to administer
mandated tests on the voting equipment (16 units) and schedule the
public accuracy test.
09-02-045E Motion by Crump Seconded by Canty
Authorize funds to conduct the May 4, 2010
Inkster and Westwood School District Election.
09-02-046E Motion by Hendricks Seconded by
Crump
Authorize the City Clerk to hire/request
additional staff and election workers to assist with the Inkster and
Westwood School District Election to be held May 4, 2010.
09-02-047E Motion by Hendricks Seconded by
Owens
Allow Clerk to utilize a receiving Board to
verify election results on May 4, 2010.
There being no further business to come before
the Election Commission, on motion duly made by Owens, seconded by
Crump, the Election Commission meeting of February 15, 2010 was
adjourned at 9:41 p.m.
