CALL MEETING TO ORDER The Special Meeting of the Council of the City of Inkster, Wayne County, Michigan, assembled in City Hall Council Chambers, 26215 Trowbridge, Inkster, MI at 5:25 p.m. ROLL CALL Honorable Council Present: Canty, Owens, Hendricks, Williams, Mayor Hampton Honorable Council Not Present: Greene, Wimberly PRESENT Ann K. Capela, City Manager Peter Dobrzeniecki, Treasurer/Controller AGENDA Discussion with Department Heads regarding 2009/2010 budget: Muzaffar Lakhani, City Engineer (5:30 pm – 6:15 pm) Suzanne Street, Head Librarian (6:19 pm – 6:25 pm) Fire Chief Mark Hubanks (6:27 pm – 6:35 pm) William Lawrence, Human Resource Director (6:38 pm – 6:48 pm) Fred Hill, Risk Manager Velida Gutierrez, City Clerk (6:50 pm – 7:15 pm) Pamela Anderson, 22nd District Court (7:16 pm – 7:38 pm) City Council (7:49 pm – 8:57 pm) Michael Wells, Library and Historical Society Chair – Discussed embracing the Leanna Hicks Library into the city budget and separate from Wayne County. Mayor Hampton expressed concern of budget dollars for the Seniors. Show legislative effort for senior center.
There being no further business to come before Council, Moved by Owens, seconded by Hendricks and carried, the Special Council Meeting of April 30, 2009 was adjourned at 9:50 PM.
