City Council MinutesCity of Inkster, Michigan Election Commission Meeting Monday, March 2, 2009 Chairman Patrick Wimberly called the Election Commission Meeting of March 2, 2009 to order at 10:09 p.m. The City Council members met as the Election Commission as prescribed in Chapter 4, Section 6 of the City of Inkster Charter. Present on Roll Call: Chairman Patrick Wimberly. Commissioners Michael Canty, Michael Greene, Hilliard L. Hampton II, Marcus Hendricks, Courtney Owens, Timothy Williams NEW BUSINESS 09-03-067E Motion by Williams Seconded by Owens Authorize the City Clerk to conduct the May 5, 2009 Inkster and Westwood School District Election. 09-03-068E Motion by Williams Seconded by Owens Authorize the City Clerk to administer mandated tests on the voting equipment (35 units) and schedule the public accuracy test. 09-03-069E Motion by Williams Seconded by Owens Authorize funds to conduct the May 5, 2009 Inkster and Westwood School District Election to be held May 5, 2009. 09-03-070E Motion by Hendricks Seconded by Owens Authorize the City Clerk to hire/request additional staff and election workers to assist with the Inkster and Westwood School District Election to be held May 5, 2009. 09-03-071E Motion by Williams Seconded by Greene Allow Clerk to utilize a receiving Board to verify election results on May 5, 2009. There being no further business to come before the Election Commission, on motion duly made by Hendricks, seconded by Williams, the Election Commission meeting of March 2, 2009 was adjourned at 10:19 p.m.
