1. Consider approving minutes from the regular council meeting of August 4, 2008

2. Consider approving $12,939.19 to Milton Spokojny, City Attorney, for services rendered in July, 2008.

E.   New Business

      1.   To approve a liquor license (Class C) application for Mr. Riad Al-Awar and Mr. Omar Abu-Hamdan located at 28640 Michigan Avenue (Venus Coney Island).

      2.   Authorize the Administration to enter into an agreement with Lyetec to accept a software grant.

      3.   Approve Aday's Home Improvement Solutions/Commercial Roofing to replace the existing roof and decking at 710 Middlebelt at a cost of $11,500.00, $800 to replace damaged wood or insulation, 15% contingency of $1,845.00 for a total cost of $14,145.00. Funds from account #401-401-974-000 (capital improvement).

      4.   Consider supporting the Governor’s Centers for Regional Excellence Program grant application in collaboration of the Conference of Western Wayne Communities and the Downriver Community Conference Communities.

      5.   Approve RI Epoxy invoice in the amount of $1,533.37 for police department floor repair.

            6.   Consider adding language to Resolution 06-05-147 to read “In the case of a stolen vehicle,                                  the $45.00 Administrative fee will be waived for the victim”.

      7.   Consider scheduling a Public Hearing on September 15, 2008 at 7:00 p.m to designate property located between Andover/Pine and Hickory/Moore as a Neighborhoodl Enterprise Zone (NEZ).

Council may enter into Closed Session to discuss contract negotiations, purchase or lease of real property and/or pending litigation in accordance with MCL 15.268 (a), (c), (d), and/or (e).
