City Council MinutesCity of Inkster, Michigan CALL MEETING TO ORDER The Special Meeting of the Council of the City of Inkster, Wayne County, Michigan, assembled in Council Chambers, 26215 Trowbridge, Inkster, MI 48141 at 4:12 pm ROLL CALLHonorable Council Present: Canty, Greene (not present), Owens, Hendricks, Williams (arrived at 4:17 p.m.), Wimberly, Mayor Hampton Bill Richards of Michigan Municipal League in attendance. Discussion regarding the amount of applications received to date, qualified individuals and the amount of days left for submission. Outline of how applicants will be contacted for interviews once Council meets on August 25 or August 26 to select successful candidates. Mr. Richards left at 4:38 p.m. City Manager distributed a Status Report to Council to update body on various projects; Council requested specific information on certain concerns. (Wimberly excused at 5:55 p.m.). Mayor Hampton asked the City Manager to consider extending her stay with the City of Inkster to act in the capacity of a consultant. City Manager stated consideration would take place if there is full support of Council.
There being no further business to come before Council, on motion duly made by Hendricks, seconded by Canty and carried, the Special Council Meeting of August 11, 2008 is adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
