A.    Consent Agenda

        A-1.      Consider approving minutes from the regular council meeting of May 5, 2008.

        A-2       Consider approving $138,555.51 to the Police and Fire Pension for the month of June, 2008

        A-3       Consider approving April invoice in the amount of $10,162.25 to Milton Spokojny, City Attorney.

              First Reading(s)

              E-1           First reading to amend the zoning map for the zoning classification of an O-1 (office) District to a B-2 (Thoroughfare Mixed-Use) District as recommended by the Planning Commission (reference Case #PC08-02 (z)).     

              Second Reading(s)

              E-2           Second reading of an ordinance to amend the Code of Ordinances of the City of Inkster by amending Sections 37.18 through 37.24 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Inkster and by adding new Sections 37.25 through 37.28 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Inkster.

F.     City Manager

G.    New Business                                                                                                                              

            G-1.      The adoption of the City of Inkster’s 2008/2009 budget as presented.

G-2.      To permit the Administration to solicit quotations for the publication of the 2009 City of Inkster calendar and allow for solicitation of advertisers for this publication.

 

ADD-ON

        G-3        Authorize the City Manager to terminate the First of Michigan by providing a thirty day written notice.

        G-4        Allow the Greater Cooper Memorial Church to conduct an outdoor event on May 27 through May 30, 2008, nightly, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 p.m. subject to the approval of the Administration.

        G-5        Authorize the City Manager to meet with Lisa Carter to discuss the establishment of the Union Hill Cemetery as a historical site and provide council with update.

        G-6        Appoint Patrick Wimberly to Nankin Transit Commission.

        G-7        Support the Michigan Avenue Cruise event to be held from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. on July 12, 2008.

H.    Closed Session

Council may enter into Closed Session to discuss contract negotiations, purchase or lease of real property and/or pending litigation in accordance with MCL 15.268 (a), (c), (d), and/or (e).

Ø      Adjournment
