        G-1.       Consider approving recommendation to settle claim number V00003 in the amount of $53,500. Funds from account 941-910 (insurance).

        G-2.       Consider approving recommendation to settle claim number V00002 in the amount of $2,500.00. Funds from account 941-910 (insurance).

        G-3        Consider approving the purchase of four video captures from L3 Communications in the amount of $38,424.00. Funds from current JAG grant fund.

        G-4.       Consider authorizing the Administration to accept the landscape construction proposals form Torre & Bruglio to perform installation of flower and mulch in the Inkster City Hall in the amount of $5,774.00. Funds from account 401-401-801 (professional services).

        G-5        To consider scheduling a public hearing on May 5, 2008 for the proposed City of Inkster Wide Budget; fiscal year 2008-2009. The City Council of the City of Inkster will hold a public hearing for the proposed fiscal year 2008/2009 budget beginning July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009, the property tax millage rate proposed to be levy to support the proposed budget and the water and sewer rates will be effective July 1q, 2008 and will be subject of this hearing as well. This Truth-In-Taxation hearing is being held pursuant to Section 16 of the Uniform Budgeting and Accounting Act (Truth in Budgeting, MCL 141.436)

ADD ON

        G-6        Consider adopting a resolution designating April as Jazz Appreciation Month.

        G-7        Consider adopting a resolution recognizing the efforts of employees in arranging a fund raiser for Police Officer Shaun Hines.

H.    CLOSED SESSION

Council may enter into Closed Session to discuss contract negotiations, purchase or lease of real property and/or pending litigation in accordance with MCL 15.268 (a), (c), (d), and/or (e).

    H-1      Personnel in accordance with MCL 15.268 (c).
