CALL MEETING TO ORDER

The Special Meeting of the Council of the City of Inkster, Wayne County, Michigan, assembled in City Hall Council Chambers, 26215 Trowbridge, Inkster, MI at 6:41 p.m.

ROLL CALL

Honorable Council Present: Canty, Greene, Owens, Hendricks, Williams, Mayor Hampton

Honorable Council Not Present: Wimberly

IN ATTENDANCE

Joyce A. Parker, City Manager

Charles Stanhouse, Treasurer

Ron Wolkowicz, Parks and Recreation Director

Archer V. Collins, DPS Director

Alan C. Young of Alan C. Young and Associates

James D. Wilde II of Alan C. Young and Associates

Surender Gupta of Alan C. Young and Associates

AGENDA

City Manager introduced audit staff and financial law requirements. Charles Stanhouse expanded on introduction.

Alan C. Young introduced himself and explained the process with a power point presentation narrated by James D Wilde II. Manager’s letter was explained as well as the term “significant deficiency. Question and answer discussion followed.

08-01-007 RESOLVED by Canty, seconded by Owens to accept the financial report with supplemental information for fiscal year ending June 30, 2007 as presented by Alan C. Young & Associates, P.C. Certified Public Accountants.

There being no further business to come before Council, on motion duly made by Canty, and seconded by Greene and carried, the Special Council Meeting of January 14, 2008 be adjourned at 7:15 p.m.
