        A-1.      Consider approving minutes from the regular council meeting of October 1, 2007

        A-2       Consider approving minutes from the Election Commission meeting of October 1, 2007.

        A-3.      Consider approving minutes from special meeting of October 10, 2007.

        A-4.      Consider approving minutes from regular meeting of October 15, 2007.

        A-5.      Consider approving minutes from special meeting of October 29, 2007.

        A-6.      Consider approving $12,678.50 to Milton Spokojny, City Attorney for October 2007 services.

        B-1.       Consider issuing a Proclamation to the National Family Caregivers Association to honor family caregivers.

      D     PREVIOUS BUSINESS – TABLED ITEMS

              D-1.       Consider approval of Proposal submitted by Rehmann, Robson CPA to provide services and technical guidance, through site visits and written reports, testing and other discovery methods of the Courts internal controls system for financial reporting in the amount of $7,800. Funds from account #101-253.801.000 (professional consultants).

F.      CITY MANAGER

G.    NEW BUSINESS                                                                                                                        

        G-1.          Consider authorizing the Administration to purchase and install two snowplows on the new F-250 Ford pickup trucks from NBC Truck Equipment Inc. for $7,820.00. Funds from account 554-933 (equipment maintenance).

        G-2.       Consider allowing the Administration to authorize Wyandotte Alarm Company to install an Access Control System at City Hall for $2,970.00. Funds from account 401.401.965.030 (capital improvement).

 

 

 

        G-3.       Consider approval of offer to purchase non-buildable vacant property, legally described as lot 577 also adjacent vacated alley 9 feet wide, Inkster Gardens Subdivision as applied for by Betty J. Edwards in the amount of $250.00

        G-4.       Consider approval of offer to purchase buildable vacant property, which is lot 194 of Dearborn Acres Sub No. 2 as applied for by Clara M. Edwards McGee in the amount of $1,600.00.

        G-5.       Consider authorizing the Fire Administration to purchase fire fighters turn out gear from Douglass Safety Systems in the amount of $4,753.40. Funds from account 339-740 (operations supplies).

        G-6.       Consider authorizing the DDA/Jazz Fest and Summerfest Committee to request approval from Wayne County Department of Public Service to close Inkster Road from Avondale Road south to Michigan Avenue on Saturday, July 12, 2008 from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., Sunday, July 13, 2008 to conduct a combined 2 day mid-summer festival. Also, authorize the Parks and Recreation Director to sign the road closure permit on behalf of the City of Inkster.

        G-7.       Consider approving the rate for expanded usage of the Lounge/Meeting room effective December 1, 2007.

        G-8.       Consider scheduling a Public Hearing on December 3, 2007 for the project plan amendment to be submitted to MDEQ for the purpose of SRF (State Revolving Fund) loan application for CSO Phase II compliance plan. Also, approve the attached “project schedule” proposed by MDEQ SRF office, for the Administration to proceed with the schedule.

        G-9        Approve the City of Inkster Employee Handbook. Printing cost approximately $400.00. Funds from account 941-900 (non departmental).

        G-10      Consider holding a public hearing on December 5, 2007, at 7:30 p.m. fro the Wayne County 2008/2009 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG).

H.    CLOSED SESSION

Council may enter into Closed Session to discuss contract negotiations, purchase or lease of real property and/or pending litigation in accordance with MCL 15.268 (a), (c), (d), and/or (e).

H-1          Pending Litigation in accordance with MCL 15.268 (a).

H-2          Personnel in accordance with MCL 15.268 (c).
