A. CONSENT AGENDA

A-1. Consider approving minutes from the regular council meeting of September 4, 2007.

A-2. Consider approving minutes from the Election Commission of September 4, 2007.

A-3 Consider approving Girl Scout telephone and direct door-to-door sales for the weeks of October 1 through November 25, 2007 for the annual calendar/nut sales and December 10, 2007 through April 1, 2008 for cookie sales.

G. NEW BUSINESS

G-1. Consider extending current contract with Dr. Erick E. Barnes as an Administrative Aide to the Police Department.

G-2. Consider authorizing the Fire Administration to accept the proposed bid from West Metro Door, Inc. in the amount of $6,000.00 for purchase and installation of two overhead doors and operators. Funds from account 339-931 (Fire Dept. Bldg. Maint.) to be transferred to 339-977 Capital Outlay (Furniture/Equipment).

G-3. Authorize Administration to renew the telephone maintenance contract with AVAYA for the period of three (3) years at a total cost of $7,901.64. Funds from account 101.306-850.000 (telephone).

G-4. Authorization to retain Governmental Consultant services, Inc. as a lobbyist for the City of Inkster. A two-year agreement is recommended at a rate of $3,000 per month for the first year and $3,200 per month for the second year of the agreement.

H. CLOSED SESSION

Council may enter into Closed Session to discuss contract negotiations, purchase or lease of real property and/or pending litigation in accordance with MCL 15.268 (a), (c), (d), and/or (e).

H-2. Pending litigation in accordance with MCL 15.268 (e).
