PUBLIC PARTICIPATION – Citizens wanting to address the Council can do so at this time. Persons addressing Council are requested to completely fill out the attached form and give it to the City Clerk. For the record, please state name and address when called upon by the Chair to speak.

A.    CONSENT AGENDA

        A-1.      Consider approving minutes from the regular council meeting of July 2, 2007.

        A-2.      Consider approval of $11,073.20 to Milton Spokojny, City Attorney for services rendered June 2007.

        A-3.      Consider approval of the July 2007 Police and Fire Retirement System in the amount of $138,555.51 to be paid on July 31, 2007 as provided for in the City Charter, Chapter 18.

              E-1.          An Ordinance to amend Section 120.086 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Inkster entitled Taxicabs; vehicles for hire/rates of Fares.

G.    NEW BUSINESS                                                                                                                       

        G-1.      Consider awarding demolition contracts to Adamo Demolition Co., TMaycock Construction II and Van Assche Construction.

        G-2.      Consider allowing a block party on July 21, 2007 from 12:00 noon to 10:00 p.m. on Meadowlane/Lexington Pkwy between Middlebelt Road and Henry Ruff.

        G-3.      Consider authorizing the issuance of Not To Exceed $27,000,000 in General Obligation Limited Tax Bonds, Series 2007.

        G-4.      Consider authorizing the issuance of Not To Exceed $8,800,000 in General Obligation Bonds, Series 2007C.


 

 

 

H.    CLOSED SESSION

Council may enter into Closed Session to discuss contract negotiations, purchase or lease of real property and/or pending litigation in accordance with MCL 15.268 (a), (c), (d), and/or (e).

H-1.         Pending Litigation in accordance with MCL 15.268 (e).

H-2.         Contract negotiations in accordance with MCL 15.268 (c)
