Call Meeting to Order

Approval Of Agenda – Add or delete items from agenda.

 Public Participation – Citizens wanting to address the Council can do so at this time. Persons addressing Council are requested to completely fill out the attached form and give it to the City Clerk. For the record, please state name and address when called upon by the Chair to speak.

A.    Consent Agenda

        A-1.       Consider approval of minutes from the special meeting of July 31, 2006.

        A-2.      Consider approval of minutes from the regular meeting of August 7, 2006.

        A-3.      Consider payment of invoice received from Milton Spokojny, City Attorney, in the amount of $10,4070.50 for July 2006 service. (invoice to follow)

        E-1       Authorize Ronald Wolkowicz, Parks and Recreation Director, as an official signer for the City of Inkster.

       F.     New Business                                                                                                                              

        F-1.      Consider Fire Administration request to increase the EMS Non-transport fee.

        F-2.      Approval for the Inkster Police Department Motorcycle Unit to conduct a fundraising raffle.

        F-3.      Consider allowing Faith Covenant Church to hold a prayer walk on September 1, 2006 from the Recreation Center to the Inkster School Administration Building.

        F-4.      Consider allowing Golden Gate Lodge No. 973 to hold a Flea Market on August 25 and 26, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the vacant lot adjacent to the property at 3747 Inkster Road.


 

G.    Closed Session

Council may enter into Closed Session to discuss contract negotiations, purchase or lease of real property and/or pending litigation in accordance with MCL 15.268 (a), (c), (d), and/or (e).

G-1.         Pending litigation in accordance with MCL 15.268 (e).
