
2010 Inkster Summer Music Fest
The City of Inkster, Inkster Downtown Development Authority, and the
Inkster Summerfest Committee will host the Inkster Summer Music Fest
during the weekend of July 10 - 11 , 2010. The Summer Music Fest
will be held in downtown Inkster on Inkster Road just North of Michigan
Avenue in front of the old City Hall located at 2121 Inkster Road). The
Summer Music Fest is a weekend festival that offers something for
everyone: Attractions for the kids, jazz and gospel entertainment, food
and merchandise vendors, fireworks and much more.
If you would like to serve as a vendor during this event filled weekend,
please click here for a vendor application. The (2) day fee for food
vendors is as follows: 2009 returning vendors - $300.00 and new vendors
- $350.00. Vendors have until Thursday, June 17, 2010 to submit their
applications without a penalty. After that date, the cost will go up to
$400.00. The deadline for submitting all food applications will be
Wednesday, June 30, 2010. The (2) day fee for merchandise vendors is as
follows: 2009 returning vendors - $200.00 and new vendors - $225.00.
Merchandise vendors have until Thursday, June 17, 2010 to submit their
applications without a penalty. After that date, the cost will go up to
$250.00. The deadline for submitting all
merchandise applications will be Wednesday. June 30, 2010.
This vendor application fee covers the entire two day event and entitles
you to set up your booth (tables and chairs are not provided) and sell
your goods at the festival. Booth spaces are approximately 10 feet
by 10 feet. A three-sided tent is required by all vendors. No electrical
outlets will be provided. All sales receipts remain with the vendor.
Vendors are responsible for cleaning their booth space at the conclusion
of the Music Fest.
All city permits will be waived for participating registered vendors.
However, food vendors are required to obtain a permit from the Wayne
County Health Department. Please contact the Health Department by
calling (734) 727-7400 or at the following location: Health
Administration Building, 33030 Van Born, Wayne, MI 48184. Additionally,
food vendors must pass an inspection from the Wayne County Health
Department before food products can be sold.
All vendor fees must be paid prior to the deadline date or you will be
charged a late fee. Forward checks or money orders made payable to

If applicable, proof of your food vendor's license must be prominently
displayed at your booth prior to the start of the Inkster Summer Music
Fest. Food vendors must be on-site by 9:00am daily and merchandise
vendors must be on-site by 10:00am daily. We look forward to your
