Regular Meeting of the Inkster City Council to be held in the City of Inkster, Wayne County, MI. November 20, 2023, at 6:00 PM (Ceremonial Swearing In), 7:00 PM (Regular Meeting).
The Inkster City Council meeting has scheduled the following meeting:
Please take notice that an Annual and Regular City Council Meeting of the Mayor and City Council will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at the Booker Dozier Recreation Center, located at 2025 Middlebelt Rd, Inkster, MI 48141. The general public is welcome to attend in person however Mayor and City Council will limit capacity due to COVID-19 safety protocols. Masks will be optional but suggested for all visitors. The general public, staff members, contractors, or other interested parties may also attend the meeting remotely by following the link, optional phone numbers, and meeting identification number required to join the meeting via ZOOM. Public comments will be welcomed.

If you enter the meeting remotely, you will be placed in a waiting room until the host starts the meeting. Members of the public joining the meeting via the Zoom app will not be able to participate in the public comment portion. Members of the public will only have Video access via the Zoom telephone numbers and Meeting ID. Public comment must be done in person or have submitted their comment(s) to the clerk's office 72 hours prior to the meeting. you must email questions or public comments to clerk@cityofinkster.com. Please include your name with your comment(s). All public comments will be read into the record by the City Clerk.

Note: This notice is posted in compliance with PA 267 of 1976, as amended, MCL 15.263 et. seq. (Open Meetings Act). and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). For a meeting of the City Council where the general public is attending in person, the City Council shall do both of the following: (1) To the extent feasible under the circumstances, ensure adherence to social distancing and mitigation measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for purposes of preventing the spread of Covid-19, including the measure that an individual remains at least 6 feet apart from anyone from outside the individual’s household. (2) Adopt heightened standards of facility cleaning and disinfection to limit participant exposures to COVID-19, as well as protocols to clean and disinfect in the event of a positive COVID-19 case in the City Council meeting place.
